Ziad Zukkari

  His drawings and layouts are the features of his rare artistic talent in controlling the movement of his fluid and flexible lines, and pursuing small, subtle and far-reaching details of the modern pictorial techniques coming to us from the plastic arts data in Western Europe, which give utmost importance to the emotional, emotional and direct color movements, touches and strokes. It is worth noting that the artist "Ziad Zukkari" was born in "Damascus" in 1927 and died on the date of 2014; He was 87 years old, and the Ministry of Tourism held an exhibition for him in 1985 in "Paris", and an exhibition honoring him was held at the Cultural Center in "Mezzeh" on the anniversary of his third departure in 2017. He studied elementary, middle and high school at "Jawdat Al Hashemi" school, and was a member of the Union Syrian plastic artists since 1964, and he was appointed a topographical painter in the Survey Department in "Damascus", and a painter at the Directorate of Endowments for "Damascus" to draw the decorations and facades of mosques in 1951, and he was appointed to the Ministry of Culture 1966, and participated in many exhibitions inside and outside "Syria", Including World Tourism Day in "Paris" 1964, he won the silver medal in the competition for designing postage stamps in "Paris" in 1964, and he received many certificates of appreciation from state institutions and ministries from 1967 until 2010.
